Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani praised bilateral relations and the strategic cooperation between Qatar and Turkey in all fields whether political, or in terms of the economy and other fields.
He met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is currently visiting the country. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation, the developments in the region especially in Libya and Syria, and issues of joint interest.
In a joint press conference with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, He praised the outcomes of the 6th Session of Qatar-Turkey Supreme Strategic Committee held in Nov. 26 last year and yielded 10 agreements in different fields.
His Excellency stressed that Qatar and Turkey enjoy distinguished, strategic ties. His Excellency said that Qatar is always happy with visits from Turkish officials to Qatar where they can discuss a variety of topics, adding that he looks forward for increased bilateral cooperation and continued consultations.
