On the Global Recycling Day, a community-based initiative was launched to help people in Qatar dispose items such as old furniture and appliances.
The initiative is being rolled out by the Sea Shore Group, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
The group will provide vehicles to transport any recyclable materials to the appropriate centres in Qatar.
