Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with a Ukrainian envoy in Doha on Thursday to discuss developments in Ukraine amid Russia’s war on the European country.
At his office in Al Bahr Palace, Qatar Amir met HE Bektum Rostam, Special Envoy of HE President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the meeting, the latest developments on Ukrainian arena and the peaceful and diplomatic ways to solve them were reviewed, and relevant regional and international issues were also discussed.
On Wednesday, the Qatari ruler and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed developments in Ukraine over the phone. The contact was the third between the two leaders since the start of the Russian offensive to Ukraine.
