Fincantieri has delivered the Qatari Emiri Navy’s (QEN) second Al Zubarah-class corvette, Damsah, at the Muggiano (La Spezia) shipyard in Italy.

The Amiri Naval Forces celebrated the delivery of corvette “Damsah”, the second of the Al Zubarah-class of four vessels, at the Fincantieri factory in Italy on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by Major General (Navy) Hilal bin Ali Al Mohannadi, Brigadier General Abdullah Ali Al-Mazrouei, Deputy Commander of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces, and a number of officers of the Qatari and Italian armed forces.
The 107m-long and 14.70m-wide corvette has been designed in compliance with the RINAMIL rules, which are intended for the classification of naval ships.
