Qatar's Cabinet on Wednesday approved a draft Amiri decision establishing and organizing the Police Academy.
The preparation of this draft decision comes within the framework of the establishment of an integrated academic structure represented by the Police Academy.
This is concerned with developing higher police education and research studies on legal and security sciences and related disciplines, preparing qualified competencies to meet national needs in the security fields, and raising competencies and job skills.
The draft included the objectives of the Academy, its management system, its affiliated colleges and institutes, the academic degrees awarded by the Academy, and other provisions related to the Academy's work.
