Qatar Prime minister meets with ambassadors of Kuwait, Iraq

Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani met separately on Wednesday morning with HE Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait Hafeez Mohammed Al Ajmi, and HE Ambassador of the sisterly Republic of Iraq Omar Ahmed Al Barzanji on the occasion of the end of their tenure in the country.
His Excellency wished the ambassadors of Kuwait and Iraq success in their future tasks and for the relations between Qatar and their countries further progress and prosperity.
Earlier last month, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq has met the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The two sides discussed a number of topics related to the bilateral relations, and they affirmed the need to deepen them in a way that realise the interests of the two neighbouring peoples, and discussed issues of concern for Iraq, the State of Kuwait and the Arab region.
The Ambassador affirmed Baghdad’s keenness to develop the joint cooperation with Kuwait, expressing his aspiration to continue working to advance the distinguished relations between the two countries and develop them on all sides.
