Doha Environmental Actions Project (DEAP) has planned to organize a cleanup drive in stunning singing sand dunes of Qatar on 8th November. This is a kid and family friendly event.
The cleanup drive will involve removing litter, plastic bottles and packages from Singing Sand dunes. Volunteers will be provided with large size garbage bags, hand gloves and refreshment at the venue. For those who plan to head to the desert, do carry sand mats, sunscreen lotion, hat and sand toys for your kids.
DEAP promotes better environmental practices and encourages people to bin rubbish or take it home to recycle instead of dumping it at the beach.
Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Sedans can reach the base of the dunes.
