Sheikh Joaan crowns winners in competitions of Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival 2023.

Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned the winners of the 14th edition of Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2023) at Sabkhat Marmi in Sealine.
The crowning ceremony was held after the end of the field tournaments today.
In the final of the Hadad Al Tahadi championship, Golden Team (Mohammad Mishaal Al Attiyah) and Al Dhafra Team from the UAE (Saqran) were also crowned in the final in addition to winning a Lexus car. Abdulrahman Jarallah Al Marri, Ali Ahmed Al Jaham Al Kuwari and Abdulhadi Hamad Al Hadwan received additional prize of QR100,000.
The final of the Hadad Al Tahadi tournament for the participants in the third and fourth groups was held. The grand prize (Lexus car) for the Hadad Al Tahadi final was won by Al Dhafra team from the UAE after a draw. The same prize for the first and second groups was won by Umm Al Zubaar team after a draw between two finalists.
Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, the sponsor of the festival, crowned the winners of the Marmi Festival tournaments, which started on Jan. 1 and will conclude tomorrow with Al-Mazayen championship held at Katara Cultural Village.
The Ras Laffan Social Outreach Program was also honored, represented by Saad bin Shaheen Al Hamidi, for their outstanding contribution to supporting the falconry heritage in the State of Qatar and for sponsoring the Ras Laffan Falcon Championship during the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Talking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ali bin Khatam Al-Mahshadi, the president of Qatar Al-Qannas Association, and chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Marmi festival 2023, praised HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani for sponsoring the event and for his unlimited support for the festival, extending his congratulations to all winners in various categories of Marmi festival tournaments.
