Workshop studies trend of spread of electric scooters

A new workshop on studying and addressing the trend of the spread of electric scooters was held on Wednesday at Intercontinental Doha Hotel.

held under the patronage of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior HE Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al Kaabi, Representatives from the traffic departments of the GCC countries and various relevant authorities in the state participated.

Acting Director General of Traffic Brigadier Abdulaziz bin Jasim Al Thani inaugurated the workshop. Directors of departments at the General Directorate of Traffic, officers from the Ministry of Interior, and representatives of relevant state entities participated.

The workshop included working papers presented by participants from the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Works Authority, the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center at Qatar University, and the Qatar General Organization for Standardization.
