Do you know that Doha Metro is one of the fastest driverless trains in the world?
Yes, you read it right! It is one of the fastest driverless trains not in the world but also the region. The trains will deliver a safe, reliable and fast commuter service for passengers. The vision of the Doha Metro Red Line is to provide integrated and reliable rail services to the public.
The project is the first in the country with only a bus network as the public transport system. With the increasing population and traffic in Qatar, the development of the public railway system is the only solution to congestion on roads.
It is the first step taken by Qatar Railway to boost the infrastructure of the country for the run-up to FIFA world cup 2022.
