A new visa application centre, jointly launched by the Embassy of Czech Republic and VFS Global has opened in Qatar, for citizens and expat residents in Qatar seeking to apply for Schengen visas to Czech Republic.
Located on 3rd Floor Jaidah Square, Airport Road, Doha, the Visa Application Centre will serve as a convenient channel for outbound travellers from Qatar, ensuring improved quality of services and seamless procedures.
The applicants can also complete their biometric enrolment at the same application centre.
VFS Global has been associated with client government of the Czech Republic since 2008 and now serves applicants through a vast network of 100 visa application centres across 24 countries like Jordan, India, Russia, South Africa, United Kingdom, amongst others.
The Regional Group COO for Middle East, Vinay Malhotra, South Asia and China, VFS Global, said that a successful relationship with Czech republic, handling its visa application submissions since 2008.
The new centre in Qatar is another milestone that adds to the portfolio of visa application centres that are managed on behalf of Czech Republic government through 100 application centres across the nation. All applications submitted at the Visa Application Centre and the passports entrusted with VFS Global, will be transferred to the centre in Kuwait, which will handle all entry permit submissions to the Czech Republic.
The passports submitted for visa stamping will be delivered back to the application centre in Qatar for collection or couriered to the address provided by the visa applicant during the application submission process.

The centre is managed by professionals who are trained to provide secure services in an efficient manner, and the centre also offers optional Premium Lounge services to visa applicants for more personalized services and door-step delivery of passports.
