27 November 2020

India has further extended suspension of scheduled international commercial flights to and from the country until 31st December 2020.

The India-Qatar air bubble arrangement will continue, and Qatar Airways and Indian Airlines can fly from Doha to various Indian cities.

The Director-General of Civil Aviation in its Twitter account uploaded the modified circular stating that the competent authority has further extended the suspension of scheduled international commercial passenger services to and from India till 23:59 hrs IST of 31st December, 2020.

However, this restriction will not be applicable to international all-cargo operations and flights that are specifically approved by DGCA.

The passenger air services were suspended on 25th March due to nationwide lockdown to control the spread of Covid-19. However, domestic flight services resumed from 25th May.
