Indian Airlines Vistara will fly to Qatar from India from 19th November. The full-service airline is a joint venture between Singapore airlines and Tata Group. To begin with, the services will start from the Indian Capital, Delhi.
At present, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, India permits flights from only certain countries that has an ‘air bubble’ agreement to enter its airport.
Qatar and India have an air bubble deal, and Indian carriers and Qatar Airways are allowed to operate flights from Doha to various Indian cities.
Apart from Qatar Airways, Indigo and Air India Express, the Indian budget airlines operates flights to Doha as part of the deal, which was recently extended till 31st December.
The Vistara website says the flights will depart Delhi at 20:00hrs and will arrive in Doha at 21:45hrs on Thursdays and Sundays and return from Doha at 22:45 and will reach Delhi on Thursdays and Sundays.
The airline said that the schedule is valid from 19th November to 31st December. It is subject to regulatory approval. All timings shown are in local time zones. As per the website an Airbus A320 will be operated along this route.

Bookings are now open for these flights on the Vistara website. The round-trip fares for Delhi-Doha-Delhi begins at INR15,4999 and a trip Doha-Delhi-Doha begins at QR669.
Given the Covid-19 restrictions, residents entering Qatar should apply for an Exceptional Entry Permit and, depending on the type of permit, a hotel should be booked for seven-day quarantine.
