First Phase

The first phase will be for three days from 1st September to 3rd September. During these days, the number of students will not exceed one-third of students’ total strength in the school.

The education department has sent guidelines to government schools, including specialized schools, those in the field of special education and private schools and kindergartens with suggested models on how the students can attend.

Second Phase

This will last two weeks from 6th to 17th September for integrated education, wherein the students’ strength and occupancy rate in all public and private schools and kindergartens shall not exceed 50 percent of the total number of students.

The students will be divided into two groups and they can alternate during the two weeks to come to school. 50 percent will attend classes in the first week in school, and the following week they will undergo remote learning.

The other half of students will first undergo remote learning in the first week once the academic year begins, and they will attend the school in the second week.

Third Phase

From 20th September, all students in public and private schools and kindergartens can have 100 percent attendance in classes.

The resumption of classes in phases will be done, while also adhering to precautionary measures outlined by the health and safety department in the education ministry, together with the Ministry of Public Health.
