Stenden University Qatar took the initiative of a successful transition to Online Delivery of Education.
Recently, the country’s local Government issued a directive for suspending studies temporarily in all private and public schools in Qatar. It’s an additional safety measure to minimize the risk of coronavirus spread in the country. In addition to it, the universities also suspended studies based on the Government’s directives.
However, Stenden University Qatar decided to deliver its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Virtual Learning mode. It’s a revolutionary step by the University to ensure continuous learning as well as combating the spread of COVID-19 alike. The University further affirmed that they’d provide quality education and facilitate student support equally.
Stenden University Qatar further declared that its students would be getting free access to log in to their online portal for accessing live classes. The Learning Management System will allow the students to access lectures, workshops, and academic sessions. Students will also have the facility of getting supervised internships and dissertations, everything through their online cloud campus.
The University acknowledges that there’ll be some challenges in the adaptability of this virtual learning system of delivery as compared to the regular face to face contact classes. However, it’s an essential step they’ve to take for protecting students and staff health.
Although the University discontinued its face-to-face contact classes, the students will still get continuous support remotely from the university admin team and staff. These alternative arrangements will continue to happen until further notice by the local Government.
