Qatar Airways has updated the travel alerts for UK passengers following the announcement from Britain that they have included Qatar in the travel red list since Friday morning, and that all flights from Qatar would not be allowed entry from that day.
A post by Qatar Airways said “For passengers affected by UK Government Travel Restrictions who have already commenced their journey, in addition to our Travel with Confidence offering, we are working with our airline partners, including British Airways, on more options to get you home reliably. More information will be shared soon.”
It further said, “For passengers who are yet to start their journey, we offer options including date and route changes and ticket refunds. Passengers can still travel from the UK with Qatar Airways and may return on partner airlines where available including British Airways.”
“In case you plan to travel to the UK between 19th March and 18th May, you can rebook on flights operated by partner airlines, including British Airways where available. To get yourself updated, please visit www.qatarairways.com. If you have made the bookings through travel agent, you may contact them directly for information,” the airline added in its alert.
