Cultural & artistic events lined up for fans at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar round the corner, several officials and private institutions have organized a rich cultural, artistic and entertainment programme for the public on the occasion.

Various officials and private bodies have announced their activities around the World Cup, which would cater to people who visit Qatar from across the globe.

Qatar Museums: Being the first to announce its activities to accompany the first global event, it repeats only once in four years. Their activities include 17 exhibitions in five museums, and include 19 high-level events and three festivals among others.

Katara Cultural Village: The activities announced by Katara in view of the World Qatar 2022, include 51 events, and 300 sub-events, involving participation of 22 countries. The events will be held from 18th November to 18th December. This includes concerts by international brands, art exhibitions and events, and books published by Katara Publishing House in Arabic and English.

Qatar Foundation: Unveiled the events and activities that Education City would host all through the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, available for all to participate in and enjoy.

Education City Stadium: The stadium will host several FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches and a series of activities for fans and general public. The stadium will remain open to public at all times.

The 2022 Street Child World Cup was also organized involving participation from 25 countries across the world.

Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy will organize hundreds of events in nine areas. The details of activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be available as a guide to visitors who attend the tournament, along with 33kms of cycling tracks for cycling enthusiasts, over 3000 restaurants and 30 shopping centres.

Other prominent events for fans at the FIFA Fan Festival in Al Bidda Park, the tournament matches will be shown live for about 170 hours of live broadcast, and 100 hours of live music featuring international and regional stars. The events will be held from 20th November to 28th November.
