Taking into consideration the ongoing Covid19 pandemic, Qatar has updated its travel list, banning six countries due to health and safety reasons.
As per Public Health report, the names of the banned countries are Pakistan, India, Philippines, Bangladesh, Egypt and Nepal. The list was updated on 30th January 7pm.
Individuals from Qatar who are fully vaccinated, foreign residents, and nationals of GCC will be subject to two-day home quarantine upon arrival as per legislation related to arrivals from red list countries.
For arrivals in Qatar, it is mandatory for all to get a negative RTPCR test that should be done within 72 hours. They have to undergo a rapid antigen test on second day of home quarantine.
For people who are not vaccinated, they have to go through seven-day home quarantine. Apart from this, they have to get the PCR test done within 72 hours of arrival. A rapid antigen test should be done on seventh day of quarantine.
