The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Sulaiti issued a circular specifying work hours during the holy month of Ramadan for all government agencies, ministries, institutions and public bodies.
The circular further stated that on the occasion of Ramadan, this year the number of official work hours for civil servants would be five hours a day, start from nine in the morning until two at noon.
Provided, the work requirements are fulfilled, the employee should be allowed to work even it late for a maximum of ten’o’ clock in the morning, provided, he completes the official work hours (five hours).
