Qatar Tourism has announced the schedule of events forming part of Shop Qatar, the largest shopping festival in the country.
The Founder and CEO of community platform ‘I Love Qatar’, Khalifa Al Haroon, is the face of this year’s shopping festival, and forms part of the new partnership with Qatar Tourism.
Arab Mega Stars will be the centre of attraction at Shop Qatar this year, with performance by Haifa and Elissa on 9th March at Mondrian Hotel, and one from Oumaima Taleb on 10th March at Katara Amphitheatre.
The Head of Marketing and Planning at Qatar Tourism, Sheikha Hessa Al Thani said “We are delighted to partner with I Love Qatar and its founder, Khalifa Al Haroon, to promote the variety of events and activities taking place as part of this year’s Shop Qatar. We have a packed schedule of festivities and promotions this year to ensure residents and visitors experience the ultimate shopping festival of its kind.”
Sephora is all set to host a series of events as part of Shop Qatar festival. The beauty retailer will offer “Sephor Saturdays” at Place Vendome, featuring masterclasses that are open to all from 7pm to 10pm.
Ten of the most popular shopping malls in the country including Doha Festival City, Lagoona Mall, Place Vendome, will all participate in the month-long celebration of Qatar.
For every QR200 spent, shoppers are eligible to enter a draw for mega prizes worth more than QR2mn.
On 4th, 11th, and 18th March, Qatar Tourism will hold raffles at Lagoona Mall, Place Vendome and Doha Festival City respectively.
Starting 8pm every event promises to be an exciting and fun-filled evening.
