Qatar Academy Doha (QAD) offers academic excellence through Primary, Middle Year and IB Diploma programs based on the principle that education involves the development of a student’s cognitive, physical, social, and moral capabilities.

Qatar Academy Doha, founded in 1996, provides an enriching and exciting environment for their 2000 students. The school offers academic excellence through Primary, Middle Year and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programs based on the principle that education involves the development of a student’s cognitive, physical, social, moral and affective capabilities.


IB programmes address not only cognitive development but social, emotional and physical well-being. The aim is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people with adaptable skills to tackle society’s complex challenges and who will help to make it a better, more peaceful world.

The school offer a dynamic classroom curriculum combined with community and service programs, practical education, and extra-curricular activities that enables students to participate in and reflect on the educational journey from preschool through the university admissions process. QAD students have unique opportunities to travel study and participate in sports throughout the Middle East region and all over the world. Locally, Senior School students participate in and help organize the THIMUN Qatar Conference.
