Qatar has launched WhatsApp service providing information on the country’s labour laws.
The 24-hour information service is an automated chatbot and is available in six languages: Arabic, English, Urdu, Hindi, Nepali and Malayalam.
The Government Communications Office (GCO) said that the new service is available for free and provides up-to-date information for employers and expatriate workers about their rights.
Then it gives seven options to reply to get the latest information on topics like - Know your rights, Apply through Qatar Visa Centre, Complaints, Application Status, Key Q&A's and Important numbers.
This also offers information on the Qatar visa centres and answers to the most frequently asked questions about labour laws, the GCO added.
