Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held talks on Monday with Qatar's Emir in Doha about improving relations between the two countries.

The Saudi FM held talks with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Qatar state news agency QNA reported
“During the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to the Emir of the State of Qatar,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a tweet.
The visit to the Qatari capital comes after Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies in January agreed to end a bitter political row with Doha and restore ties severed since mid-2017.
QNA said the prince delivered a verbal message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on enhancing bilateral ties as well as on regional and international developments.
In February, Saudi Arabia sent a delegation to meet Qatari officials in Kuwait after restoring diplomatic, trade and travel ties with the gas-rich Gulf nation the month before.
Following the agreement, which restored diplomatic ties between Qatar and its neighbours, Qatari officials have met UAE, Saudi, Bahraini and Egyptian officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
