Expo Fan Zone adds to the excitement of Asian Cup Qatar

The Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition opened the Fan Zone with the launch of the Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which is a designated space within the cultural area in Al Bidda Park to broadcast the matches of the continental championship and provide an enthusiastic atmosphere and an exciting experience for fans and visitors.

The Expo Organizing Committee was keen to make the Fan Zone the ideal destination for football fans to meet and interact with their teams, and enjoy the atmosphere of exciting matches.

The fan zone witnessed the influx of thousands of visitors to enjoy the exciting football atmosphere and watch their country's teams, where an enthusiastic atmosphere of encouragement prevailed throughout the events of the match.

The Expo Fan Zone was distinguished by a large presence of children, youth and families to enjoy the various activities held by the organizing committee to reflect the interest in the game of football, along with other activities that express the cultural and societal heritage of Qatar, in addition to the musical and sports performances that added joy to the place.

Activities in the fan zone also included fireworks, a place designated for the exciting 'paintball battle', a shooting range, football matches, a miniature golf course, laser shows, and a festival of colours. The free shows were designed to capture the audience's attention and add an artistic touch to this integrated experience.

The family theatre also includes competitions and sports games designed specifically for visitors of all cultures.

Visitors and fans were keen to adhere to the volunteers’ instructions and enjoy the entertainment, sports and children’s activities, which received admiration and praise.

Visitors and fans expressed their happiness at the return of the exciting atmosphere again, noting that the Expo organizers successfully brought back the dazzling atmosphere of the Qatar 2022 World Cup to the public.

They praised the impressive organization of the opening ceremony of the Asian Championship, which reinforces the ideal image that Qatar has succeeded in promoting its great organizational capabilities in hosting sporting events and major events in the Arab region and the Middle East.
