Al-Maha English Schools

The Al-Maha English schools come under the umbrella of Ta’allum group and comprises of kindergarten, Primary and secondary schools.

This includes Al Maha Mamoura Kindergarten, Al Maha Boys Primary and secondary, Al Maha Girls Primary and Secondary. The primary school is the largest of three schools that has over 1000 students. The secondary school has just over 500 students with students completing their IGCSEs, AS Levels and Qatar Thanawia by the end of year 12.

Al-Maha English schools follow a UK British National curriculum alongside the National Arabic and Islamic Studies curriculum of Qatar. This school is registered as a British school in the UK and is affiliated with the Cambridge-University of London.

The Academy has the state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities for the students. These include fully equipped science laboratories in both the Primary and Secondary Schools, Well-equipped computer laboratories, Research and presentation tools in other subjects, 25 meter heated indoor swimming pool, 25 meter heated indoor swimming pool and a large library with study rooms for group discussions.

The Al Maha Knowledge Centre represents a collaborative effort, involving the school, family and community in developing an appropriate inclusive educational programme. The center aim to meet the varying needs of all students identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN) by modifying the curriculum and equipping the students with self-management skills, so that they are better able to access the curriculum. Cultural, Islamic and Taribiyyah values are deeply embedded into all their approaches.
