Qatar has announced the official working hours for government and private sectors during the holy month of Ramadan.
Following the Cabinet meet, it was announced that the official work hours during the Holy month of Ramadan for the year 1441 AH will be:
Government Sector
The government sector will work four hours per day from 9am to 1pm.
Private Sector
The private sector will work six hours a day from 9am to 3pm.
The stores such as pharmacies, food stores and restaurants that do delivery services, and the contracting sectors are excluded from the said decision.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry, together with relevant authorities shall determine the necessary activities exempted from this decision.
