The United Kingdom has announced new visa changes for GCC and Jordanian nationals, making it easier for them to travel to the UK.
Qatari nationals will be the first to benefit from the implementation of the new system, as it will be applicable to Qataris in October 2023. For the rest of the GCC countries and Jordan, they will benefit from it in February 2024.
As per the UK’s new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) scheme, both Gulf nationals and Jordanians will pay only $12.44 to apply for ETA, which would grant them two-year multiple entry visa.
According to UK’s Home Office, GCC and Jordanian nationals will be the first nations to benefit from this scheme, wherein, the requirements for their visit to the UK would be like that of the US and Australia.
Currently, GCC residents pay more than $30 to visit the UK, while for Jordanians it is more than $120.
