The sixth edition of Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) will be held at The Pearl Qatar from 12th to 16th March under the auspices of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifah al-Thani.
QIBS 2019 will be held from 25th to 29th at La Croisette, Porto Arabia, the Pearl Qatar. It will play host to top quality boats, highlighting the art of craftsmanship from several counties including Germany, Qatar, Pakistan, Italy, Turkey, India, France, Kuwait and the US.
The show will also introduce the region’s boat enthusiasts to the latest technological advancements. This year, the show will attract more than 30 impressive motorboats and luxury yachts. These will be displayed on both land and water, complemented by exhibitor chalets, representing several top names in the maritime industry, both local and international, along the marine walkway.
The Chairman of Al Mannai Plus Events, Khalid Issa al-Manai, noted that QIBS would play a huge role in promoting tourism and exhibitions sector in Qatar.
Several visitors from within and outside Qatar have visited the sole marine exhibition of Qatar in large numbers. The previous marine events, organized by Al Mannai Plus Events, with supports of its valued sponsors. QIBS has promoted and drawn private sector to invest in the marine industry.
The CEO of Al Mannai Plus Events, Loai Dalis, said that Qatar is fortunate to be blessed with a wise and strong leadership, which has given the business community the necessary confidence to stand on own feet and not be discouraged by any outside threats and negative attitudes of others. Our team dreams of seeing Qatar as being recognized in the marine and tourism sectors, similar to other areas like energy and sports, he said.
